Q. Where do you get your material for writing?

A. Personal experience, dreams, places I’ve visited and research on various subjects.

Q. How long did it take you to write your first book?

A. Over 30 years. I had started the book on a typewriter when my second son was born. When I returned to work after a leave of absence the book got put in my file cabinet and life went on for many years. While discussing “bucket lists” with a friend, my desire to write and publish a book came up. His words were pure and simple, “Do it!” And I did. The time was right. It’s never too late. But I’m told the average book take 1-5 years to publish.

Q. Are you going to publish any more books.

A. Yes! I have two other books started including a sequel to my first book, and rough notes and drafts for another. A dream I had awhile back has given me another idea but I still need to form a storyline for that one.
